Diwali is a festival of lights, it symbolizes “Victory of light over darkness, good over evil and knowledge over ignorance”. It is the most important Indian festival. Since the year 2020 started on a gloomy note with a virus spreading through nations like wildfire, bringing the world to a standstill, we at Sunshine wanted to add joy to the lives of humanity that suffered the most. While the fight is far from over we did our best to be a ‘Ray of Hope’ to people living in darkness to give renewed hope to the poor, destitute and needy this Diwali by sharing happiness.
Sunshine distributed food bags (Rice, dal, sugar, oil, rawa, maida) to 60 families. We also distributed Vit. C tablets, zinc, masks and sanitizers to all our children, this is the third consecutive month of distribution and so far we are glad to share that all our children are safe and healthy.
